Expectations:
When re-roofing, nails will sometimes back out of the sheetrock because of the vibration from the hammering. This is something that we cannot avoid, nor assume responsibility.
Electrical, telephone, security and air conditioning lines should not be run directly underneath the roof deck. If you are aware of any such lines, we must be notified immediately. We cannot be responsible for puncture of improperly installed lines or lines within two inches of the roof deck.
Our proposals are based on a complete job. Any leftover materials remain the property of Apex Roofing unless otherwise stated in your proposal.
Interior:
- Take breakables out of china cabinets and off shelves
- Take pictures, mirrors and other breakables off walls
- Cover valuables in attic and inside the home to prevent debris/dust spray or particles from an acoustical ceiling.
- If you have small children, you may want to have them away from home during the re-roofing of your home.
- Have a licensed heat and air company check all vent pipes, boots and insulation following re-roof completion.
Exterior:
- Move all vehicles away from the construction area.
- Move patio furniture and other lawn ornaments away from area.
- Cover flower beds and shrubs with tarps.
Warning: Our workers pay very close attention to shrubs and flowers in the construction site area and strive to prevent damages, but sometimes accidents will happen. There will be a thorough cleanup of the exterior of your premises; however, we can only pick up approximately 98% of the nails that fall around the premises.
